Newsroom
Press enquiries and coverage
We answer technical questions about how brokerage infrastructure works and are deliberately unhelpful on a few other topics. Both lists are below so you know what you are getting before you write.

Pieces are added once they appear. In the meantime, everything we have written ourselves is on the blog.
Read the blogWhat we can comment on
Three areas where we are genuinely useful
Market structure and execution
How execution quality is measured, where costs actually sit in a trade, and why headline spread is a poor comparison. Technical rather than promotional.
Brokerage technology
How firms assemble a stack, what breaks between systems, and what a migration realistically involves. We can be specific without naming customers.
Evaluation and prop trading
Rule design, drawdown definitions and what makes a programme sustainable. An area with more opinion than evidence, and we try to be careful about the difference.
What we will not comment on
Three areas where we are the wrong source
Named customers
We do not confirm or discuss who runs on the platform unless the customer has said so publicly first. That holds even when it would be flattering.
Regulatory outcomes
We are not the right source on whether a firm is compliant or what a regulator will do. Questions of that kind belong with counsel or the regulator.
Competitor positions
We will describe how something works and let readers compare. We will not characterise another vendor's product, because we are not a neutral party.
Tell us the angle, not just the deadline
Knowing what the piece is actually about gets you a more useful person on the call and a faster answer.
