Pricing
What it costs, and what actually drives the number
Three engagement models, priced per environment. We do not publish a figure here because the four things that set it vary more between desks than the work itself does.
See it live
One schedule, whichever tier applies
Engagement tiers, coverage levels and the factors behind a quote sit in a single reference rather than three separate conversations.

Engagement models
Three shapes, and most desks recognise themselves in one
A new environment, provisioned and handed over
Fixed price, quoted per environment
One-off engagement. We model the structure, provision the environment, connect your providers and hand you a platform that matches your book. No ongoing commitment attached.
Symbol and group modelling
Environment provisioning
Provider and gateway connections
Rehearsed go-live
Configuration documented and handed over
Everything, continuously, with a named engineer
Monthly retainer per environment
The common arrangement for a desk with no platform team. Everything in Build, then ongoing configuration, monitoring, patching and hosting, with a named engineer and a rota behind them.
Everything in Build
Ongoing configuration and tuning
Continuous monitoring and first response
Managed hosting and tested failover
Named engineer with a rota behind them
A written second opinion on what you already run
Fixed price, one-off
We review the environment you have and hand you the findings in writing. There is no obligation to move anything to us afterwards, and the report is yours either way.
Configuration and group policy review
Provider connection and routing review
Infrastructure and recovery assessment
Written findings with priorities
No onward commitment
What sets the quote
Four factors, and none of them is how big your company is
- 01
How many environments
One platform is one price. A live server plus a standby, or two platforms running side by side during a migration, changes the shape of the work rather than doubling it.
- 02
What coverage you need
Business-hours support and continuous coverage with an on-call rota are genuinely different costs. Most desks trading around the clock need the second; not all of them do.
- 03
Whether we host it
If your infrastructure already sits where it needs to be relative to your providers, we administer the platform on it and hosting is not part of the price at all.
- 04
How much change you run
A settled book with a stable instrument list is less work than a desk adding markets every month. We would rather price that honestly than average it and be wrong for both.
Work it out yourself
What standing in-house coverage costs you
Every figure below is yours to set — we are not going to tell you what your market pays. This is only the salary line. It is before anyone has written a line of configuration.
One hire cannot cover nights, weekends and holidays on its own.
Use the figure your market actually pays for this skill set.
Payroll costs, tooling, recruitment and management time, as a multiplier.
$234,000
per year · about $19,500 a month
A managed engagement covers
Server builds, upgrades and patching
Symbol, group and session configuration
Provider and gateway connections
Monitoring, alerting and first response
Hosting, backups and tested failover
We will not quote a number against figures we have not seen. Tell us what you run and we will price it.
What is never a surprise
The four things people have been burned by before
Incidents are not billed as extras
Responding when something breaks is the service. A retainer that excludes incident response is a monitoring subscription with a support desk attached.
Routine changes are included
Session calendars, holiday schedules, corporate actions, swap reviews and instrument additions are standing work, not a ticket you pay for each time.
The scope is written down
What is covered, what is not, and where the boundary sits between our work and yours is agreed in writing before the engagement starts.
You keep your access
It is your platform. Our access is named and revocable, and if the engagement ends your environment and its data stay with you.
FAQ
Pricing: common questions
6 short answers to what teams ask before a demo.
Because a number here would be wrong for most readers. The cost depends on how many environments you run, whether you need continuous coverage, whether we host, and how much change your book generates. We quote against those four rather than publish an average that fits nobody.
As a monthly retainer per environment, agreed in advance. Incident response and routine configuration work are inside the retainer, not billed separately, because a retainer that excludes them is not really coverage.
Yes, and it is a common way in. The audit is a fixed price, the findings are written up and handed to you, and there is no obligation to move anything to us afterwards.
No. If your infrastructure already sits where it needs to be relative to your providers, we administer the platform on it and hosting is not part of the price.
The environment and its data are yours. Our access is named and revoked on exit, and the configuration is documented throughout rather than written up at the end, so a handover is a handover and not an excavation.
Not usually. Provider connections and change control are shared across environments, so a second platform adds work but not a second engagement. The quote reflects that.
