Execution

Send the net position, not every ticket

When copy trading fires or an algorithm wakes up, hundreds of tickets can hit the hub in seconds. Passing each one straight to a provider burns your rate limit and pays spread on flow that mostly cancels itself out.

BridgeX flow shaping

What shaping does

Hedge the residual, not the noise

Incoming flow is netted over a window you set, and only what remains after offsetting goes out to a provider.

Offsetting before routing

Opposing tickets on the same instrument cancel internally, so a burst that nets to almost nothing costs almost nothing to hedge.

Rate limits respected

Outbound order rate is held inside each provider's published limits, so a spike does not get your session throttled or dropped.

A window you choose

The netting interval is configurable per instrument, because a thin market and a liquid one should not be shaped the same way.

Residual thresholds

Set the exposure level at which a hedge actually goes out, so small leftovers sit in the book instead of generating a ticket each time.

Visible while it happens

What was netted, what went out and what remains unhedged is shown in real time rather than reconstructed from logs afterwards.

How it runs

From burst to hedge

Flow arrives

Tickets land from copy trading, algorithms or ordinary client activity, at whatever rate they come.

Positions net off

Within the window, buys and sells on the same instrument offset against each other inside the hub.

Residual is routed

Only the net position above your threshold is sent to a provider, using normal smart routing rules.

Exposure stays visible

Whatever is deliberately unhedged shows in your exposure view, so shaping never hides risk.

Flow shaping questions

What shaping trades off

4 short answers to what teams ask before a demo.

No. The client fill happens on your book at the time of the ticket. Shaping applies to what you send outward to hedge, which is a separate decision from how the client is filled.

Briefly, yes, and that is the trade. Inside the window you carry the unhedged residual. The window and the threshold exist so you can decide how much of that you are willing to hold.

Nothing offsets, so nothing is held back. Flow that is genuinely directional routes out at the threshold, which is when hedging matters most.

Yes. Shaping is configured per instrument, so anything you want passed straight through can be, while noisy instruments are netted.
